Bio-peptides are used for the base of the creams in Ajaram. They are strings of amino acids, which are the building blocks of proteins that constitute for the collagen in the skin and make up the elastin fibers that add to tissue firmness and elasticity. Although peptides are present in our body, we lose them as we age. Applying Ajaram’s Vitamin B3 Glow Day Moisturizer onto the skin stimulates collagen-boosting processes. The active collagen building properties in bio-peptide helps combat the negative effects of aging and the emollient ingredients in it work together to produce moisturizing and long-term regenerative results.
Ajaram’s Vitamin B3 Glow Day Moisturizer contains Vitamin B3, a water-soluble vitamin that works with the natural substances in the skin to help visibly improve enlarged pores, uneven skin tone, fine lines and wrinkles, dullness, and a weakened surface. It also significantly reduces hyper-pigmentation and research has found 5% Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) concentrations lighten the dark spots. Niacinamide is known to build keratin, a protein that keeps your skin firm and helps lock in moisture that is helpful in treating acne.
Ajaram’s Vitamin B3 Glow Day Moisturizer is made with the Kumkumadi Oil as one of the primary ingredients. The most well known ingredient of Kumkumadi Oil is Saffron (Keshara), the exotic flowers from the scenic valleys of Kashmir. Saffron is a potent herb with a warming quality and has the ability to transform skin tone. By rejuvenating the skin cells and promoting blood circulation, it brightens the complexion. Kumkumadi Oil also contains the following:
Sandalwood (Chandana) is derived from fragrant woods of the Sandalwood tree. It has cool and bitter qualities and is a good astringent, cleanses skin and reduces inflammation. It contains skin lightening agents with soothing properties that make the oil suitable for application even in summers.
Vetiver root (Usira) present in Kumkumadi Oil is another Ayurvedic herb that is effective in brightening the complexion and treating skin discoloration and hyperpigmentation revealing a smoother, younger-looking complexion.
Indian Barberry (Kaliyaka or Kaleeya) in the oil is known for its ability to reduce the production of skin lipids (or sebum). This ingredient is perfect for helping to unclog pores, tame oily skin and prevent acne.
The oil gets its antifungal properties from Lac (Laksha). It is extremely useful in wound healing and treating skin infections. Nyagrodha, the Banyan component in the oil improves skin complexion and quality.
Padmaka (Indian lotus) and extract from the seed of Blue Lotus (Nilolpala) is a natural moisturizer that results in glowing skin by balancing oiliness and preventing breakouts.
The musky scented Mahua (Madhuka) flowers provide the oil its cooling properties and the functionality as a skin toner.
Extracts from Indian Redwood (Pattanga) and Pollen of Lotus flower (Kamala Keshara) give Kumkumadi its healing properties and treat conditions like skin inflammation.
Derived from the Himalayas, Indian Madder (Manjistha) has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It is known to be a blood purifier, improves microcirculation and complexion. Yastimadhu (Indian liquorice) helps in wound healing, reducing inflammation and improves skin texture.
The combination of herbs used in the Ayurvedic inspired decoction in combination with bio-peptides, Vitamin B3, saffron and sesame oil makes it a very powerful, healing formulation.

When I first bought this moisturizer, I was a little skeptical because I have not found other reviews on the product. However, I realized that I had discovered a skincare gem with the Vitamin B3 and K-Miracle Oil Moisturizer. It’s been a game-changer for my complexion. The lightweight B3 serum evens out my skin tone, fades dark spots, and leaves it feeling smooth (also leaves a very refreshing after feel). The K-Miracle Oil Moisturizer nourishes deeply and gives my skin a radiant glow (I have literally been told that I was glowing by strangers). I love that it’s non-greasy and hydrates without feeling heavy. The niacinamide brightens and reduces fine lines and pores. I have noticed incredible results after using this product for a few weeks. To all guys out there who are looking to take care of their skin – this is my favorite facial product I own. I have always had dry skin, especially in the winter. This cream not only leaves my face feeling soft and smooth, but it does not irritate my skin and cause breakouts like several other moisturizers I have used. Great product.
